Where we mine. Coal South Africas export product is derived from our four and operated mines - Goedehoop, Greenside, Khwezela and Zibulo (a 73: 27 partnership with Anglo American Inyosi Coal), as well as from Mafube colliery - a 50:50 joint venture with diversified resources group Exxaro.

We have reduced our South African thermal coal portfolio to concentrate on export markets, supplying around 19 Mt of thermal coal a year to our customers in Europe and Asia. Our South African export product is derived from three wholly owned and operated mines – Goedehoop, Greenside and Khwezela; Zibulo (73% owned); as well as from Mafube colliery, a 50:50 joint operation.
